What Is the Honda Indy 200?

The Honda Indy 200 is an IndyCar race held every July at the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course in Lexington, OH. This professional race has been around since the 1980s (when it was still called CART). It was removed from the course’s schedule in 2003, and was revived in 2006 under the new name Indy Racing League. It changed to Honda Indy 200 in 2007, when Honda started sponsoring it.

The race features 90 laps, which is about 203.22 miles. It is composed of seven primary sets and four alternate sets.

The race is a car lover’s dream-come-true. Come experience the thrill of tires sliding on the course, cars speeding around the track, and drivers using their hard-earned skills. Past winners of the Honda Indy 200 include Scott Dixon, Josef Newgarden, Alexander Rossi, Alex Zanardi, Michael Andretti, and Bobby Rahal.
