Celebrate Earth Day Fair with a relaxing stay at the Hideaway Inn and an educational exploration of our environment at Lowe|Volk Park.

The Crawford Park District is partnering with many local organizations to host the second Earth Day Fair.  Along with a relaxing weekend stay, dinner and breakfast at the beautiful and naturally focused Hideaway Inn| you and your family will learn to appreciate Earth Day in all its natural splendor.

Earth Day Fair’s intention is to get people thinking about the 3 R’s | Reduce, Reuse, Recycle | but also about sustainability, creating backyard habitat, and much more! There will be many “green” table displays and activities. The following will be displayed| Recycle Trailer, display from the Crawford County Solid Waste District, display from Sandusky River Watershed Coalition, Recycled Projects from Lisa Smith’s 4th Grade CC class, Composting Demo from the Soil and Water Conservation District, Native Plant Sale, Recycled Nature Craft, Natural Pesticides display, and displays from local businesses that demonstrate the focal points of this event.
