The Lovin’ Spoonful, Delicious Dinner at the Inn, HideAway Country Inn, Comfortable Accommodations

Enjoy Live Theater at Historical Marion Palace Theatre, Dinner, and a Relaxing Overnight Stay at the HideAway Country Inn.

THE LOVIN’ SPOONFUL has technically existed for 50 years, but with the band’s sudden departure in 1968, many of their fans are just getting the opportunity to see them perform live for the first time. Best known for their number one hit ‘Summer in the City,’ THE LOVIN’ SPOONFUL returned to the road in 1991. With members from the original lineup- singer Joe Butler, bass player Steve Boone, and early band member guitarist Jerry Yester, the band regularly tours across the U.S. playing their 60s folk-rock revival style music. The current show is a fun-filled trip back to the carefree days of AM radio, giving fans the signature feel good sound that they come to hear including their iconic hits: “You Didn’t Have to be So Nice,” “Did you Ever Have to Make Up Your Mind,” “Nashville Cats,” “Do You Believe in Magic,” and “Daydream.” Show Starts at 8 pm.

And, once completed, you will be so thankful you are free to enjoy the rest of your weekend at the beautiful Hideaway Inn, where luxury awaits you. Fabulous restaurants, before and after dinner drinks at our Pub, sleep in state of the art beds with Jacuzzi in most rooms and suites, and a fabulous, homemade breakfast to send you on your way to other enjoyable area entertainment.
