Enjoy the BBQ & Blues Festival at the Marion County Fairgrounds and make HideAway Country Inn your home away from home while you’re there.
The BBQ and Blues Festival will run Friday, Oct. 7, through Sunday, Oct. 9 at the Marion County Fairgrounds on the north side of Marion. This lively event will feature some of the best BBQ and blues music from across the nation. The festival includes a Battle of the Bands and Kids Q on Friday, Oct. 7, a People’s Choice Contest on Saturday, Oct. 8, and great bands the entire weekend. The best professional BBQ teams in the United States will offer their award-winning BBQ. Admission is $5 per person each day, while children 12 and younger get in free.
The tentative blues band schedule for the festival includes:
3 p.m. — Bejae Fleming
4:15 p.m. — T.J. George Duo
5:30 p.m. — Jed Sparks
6:45 p.m. — Micah Kesselring
8:00 p.m. — Willie Phoenix Band
9:15 p.m. — Jimmy Vincent Band
