Seeing the Grand Baroque Architecture Alone is Worth the Visit

Regardless of which show or performance you decide to see, the Renaissance Theater is one of the most incredible places to visit in Ohio! Completely restored, the Grand Baroque architecture is absolutely breathtaking. The ceiling and balcony have a special emphasis on nature with beautiful leaves, shells, and cornucopias included in the designs. The gorgeous chandelier in the main hall is not native to the building, but it fits the space beautifully. It was actually constructed in 1925 in Austria-Hungary! 

The Lineup of Shows is Always Fantastic

Averaging about forty shows a year, the Renaissance Theater is always hopping with activity! This year, the theater is doing a year-long Stephen King Film Festival, so be sure to watch out for those events. That’s not all you can find at the Renaissance this year, however. See the Miss Ohio Pageant and a Rock N’ Roll Car Festival this June and fan-favorite musicals like the Newsies in late July and early August.
