Junior Naturalist in the House? Get out April 9 – Birds, Animals, Trees & Rocks.

Check in at  the Hideaway Inn on Friday evening and enjoy a relaxing dinner with family before retiring to your warm and cozy room.  On Saturday, April 9th, wake up to a fabulous yummy breakfast before venturing out to the Gorman Nature Center, from 1-4pm to enjoy their program covering topics that will help young naturalists begin their journey towards a greater understanding of our natural world. Programs will begin with an indoor informational session and conclude with a hike or activity to enforce and practice what they have learned. Topics covered will include winter birds, mammals, trees, and rocks.

Then venture back for relaxing drinks at the Pub before dinner, 1/2 pound burgers to Prime Steaks for adults and kids.  Your bed will be waiting with a fire in the fireplace and movies on TV for you and your children to enjoy. Enjoy the Life-Size Yard Games too.
