1996

The extra meeting room in the basement became the beautiful Cherry Suite with its warm ambiance that’s provided by the fireplace, soft candle light and the Jacuzzi for two, which is in place of the wet bar that once occupied the same space.  The rich inlaid cherry paneling was installed over 24 inch poured concrete walls when the home was built in 1938.  Also, in November 1996, work began on the other side of the house to enlarge the family living quarters. It went from three rooms and one bath to four small bedrooms, two baths and a new cathedral ceiling living area with kitchen.
