January 2017 Cooking Class |Comfort Foods, Soups and Crusty Bread Bowl

Learn to make Warm, COMFORT FOOD & SOUPS for people on a TIGHT BUDGET!

Cooking Class to warm the Soul ! Christmas and the cold have taken their toll on you!

When you have a good to great soup base, the possibilities are endless!  You will learn to make a cream base and with that base make a Cream of Tomato Soup.  But it doesn’t stop there…you will learn how to change it to make Cream of Mushroom with Thyme, Cream of Broccoli and Cheddar and finally, Cream of Chicken with Vegetables. What better way to serve them  in an edible bread bowl? So along with the four soups, we will be constructing a crusty “bowl” with a soft, chewy center.  Chef Dan Bailey will also demonstrate and help you for hands on ability so you can do it at home ! A how to make the dough for the “soup bowl” so you can create wonderful soup dishes for your Friends and family!

If the 1938 Restaurant & Pub has to cancel a class, you’ll receive a full refund of your fee.
