Come Celebrate the Beginning of Spring and the start of White Wine Season! The Hideaway Inn will be hosting a Wine Tasting 3- course Dinner with a Chardonnay theme! We will be delving into the mysteries of this classic and versatile Spring and Summer favorite, as well as, looking at the Oak versus Butter debate.
Dinner starts at 6pm on Saturday, April 5th with a Prosecco as an aperitif and an amuse bouche. We will begin with more classic Chardonnay with the Clos Du Bois Sonoma Reserve Russian River Valley from 2011 with a Goat cheese and Pear salad. Our journey through Chardonnay will continue with the wonderfully unique Raymond Reserve Selection 2011 from Napa Valley paired with a Sweet Potato Gnocchi with kale and thinly sliced chicken breast. The conclusion of our meal will be an offering from 2009 with Davis Bynum's Russian River Valley Chardonnay and Jeni's Splendid Ice Cream! Tasting notes and information packets are included for each person who participates! Price is $55 per person, that includes the three courses and three tastings of Chardonnays plus the amuse bouche with the Prosecco to start and all the information and educational material! Tax and tip not included in the price.
