Plan Marion Popcorn Festival and Wyandot Popcorn Museum into Your September Schedule
On the first weekend after Labor Day, Marion gets ‘Popping!’ Don’t let those popcorn kernels pop away, as the event is right around the corner. Mark your calendars now for the Marion Popcorn Festival and have some final late summer fun! Taking place Sept. 4, 5, 6, 2014, it features days of entertainment, food, and a popping good time!
This year, Friday night entertainment on the main stage is free and will feature Craig Morgan. Saturday evening will take you back in time a few decades with Night Ranger! Thursday will feature Panama, the Van Halen Tribute band!

Thursday night the event will hold a parade to delight all ages starting at 6 p.m. Then enjoy one of the largest festival midways boasting over 250 vendors and game exhibits and entertainment for one or all three of the days.
Located in downtown Marion, Ohio, this festival is one of Ohio’s premiere events, started to celebrate the popcorn industry in Marion. If you are interested, you can plan in a trip to the Wyandot Popcorn Museum. It’s one of only two popcorn museums in the world (quite ironically, the other is also in Ohio!)
The Marion Popcorn Festival was named the largest popcorn festival in the world and one of the Top 100 events in North America (by the American Bus Association).
