The Firelands Society of Model Railroaders will have its spring show from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. April 19 at the Richland County Fairgrounds, 750 N. Home Road, Mansfield. Come by for trains, of course. There will be something for everyone in all age groups.
Admission is $5 for adults and free for those younger than 18 or active duty military personnel. For details, visit www.fsomr.com or call 419-318-0980.
Then you could also plan to swing by the Marion Model Railroad Club at 502 W. Center St., Marion, Ohio, which is open every Sunday from 2-5 p.m. You can see a room full of large HO scale model railroad layouts that feature town scenes, mountains, model rail yard, narrow gauge trains, and trollies.
