The Centerpiece

From the actual ceremony to the reception, every bride’s dream is for her big day to be flawless, fun, and beautiful. For this to happen some serious planning is involved from the major decisions of what venue to book down to the final details of which centerpiece to decide on. The centerpiece at your reception can seem small but it is all the small details that paint the ultimate picture. While elaborate flowers can make a table appealing, they may be the best on your budget. Below are some creative and stylish ideas that can be bought or done yourself. These all add a unique twist on the typical flowers.

1) Let’s Have Some Wine
This may be one of my favorite ideas yet. This couple took flowers that can be real or fake and turned inexpensive wine glasses upside down. They finished the look by adding a simple lit white candle on top.

2) It’s Raining Mason Jars!
Mason jars seem to be used everywhere these days. Below are two examples of how brides turned these basic jars into a beautiful look. I love the floating white candles for a rustic look.

3) Food for Thought
I know I said flowers are typical but these flowers have a tropical twist. Fill a vase with water and add lemon peels, cucumber peels or anything you want.

4) Stones
It doesn’t get much cheaper than rocks! Stones can numerous ways. Here the couple took three simple vases and incorporated candles, water, one flower, and stones.
